I am sure that most of us have heard of choosing a word to focus on for the year. We choose a word to reflect on and that will motivate us. For this year, my word is simply to BELIEVE.
During 2018, I saw many posts and blogs that were geared toward affirmations and speaking positive quotes over ourselves. I know how the enemy will try to rob us of those affirmations as soon as they slip through our lips. He comes to “steal, kill, and destroy John 10:10” . We may hear a word of prophesy or read a scripture that speaks to us and within the hour the enemy is already placing doubt in our heart. It only takes a speck of doubt to destroy the fruit. “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” 1 Cor. 5:6.
Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them and ye shall have them – Mark 11:24
For 2019, I am focusing on speaking and claiming the promises of God over my life. I declare the goodness and mercy of God chasing me down, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, that by his stripes I AM healed, that the plans he has for me are good, and that he came that I may have life and life more abundantly!! I am maturing daily and growing daily in the things of God. I rebuke every plan of satan against my life or against my family, I rebuke every illness, every negative thought, every spirit of lack, and every spirit of slack. I loose the cares of this world and the pride of life. This is MY season and I will blossom in the name of Jesus!! Lord I BELIEVE!!

Thank you so much for posting this today, I needed this TODAY! Sometimes we forget Gods promises as we go out day to day trying to do it in our own strength forgetting, to cast our cares on him, so thank you Angel, for being God’s angel that I can see, and tou show that if I put him first and let him guide me I don’t need to fight through this crazy life but just give it to him and like you said believe that he’s got it and just FYI my word is Love, thanks Angel
